Preziose | Munich - 2024
From December 15, 2023, to January 31, 2024, the Gallery LAU in Munich hosted the collective exhibition Winter Exhibition – Preziose, bringing together 25 international artists to celebrate the beauty and artistic potential of small-format works.
Marie-Amélie Chéreau presented Maze 1.3 and Maze 1.4, two oil on canvas paintings, each measuring 20 × 20 cm, from her Les Silencieuses collection. Created through meticulous brush-line gestures and layered compositions, these intimate works embody focus and precision. The fine network of lines forms intricate visual mazes, inviting the viewer into a space of contemplation where structure and emotion meet in quiet balance.
