On january 26th, 2023, gallery Lau organized the opening of the exhibition “Dans la Lumière” by French artist Marie-Amélie Chéreau at the Goldberg Studio in Munich. The event drew a cosmopolitan crowd of art enthusiasts, critics and art collectors.
The Goldberg Studio was the ideal place to exhibit the works of Marie-Amélie Chéreau. The raw industrial space, with its exposed brick walls and high ceilings, provided a stark contrast to the artist's powerful and colorful paintings. The collection presented at the event included a series of abstract paintings in oil on canvas, each one inviting you to become an artist yourself, a creator of your own images. The vibrant colors and contrasting lines of the works presented captivated the guests, who were quickly absorbed by the enchanting worlds that Marie-Amélie Chéreau creates.
