on january 26th, 2023, gallery lau organized the opening of the exhibition “dans la lumière” by french artist marie-amélie chéreau at the goldberg studio in munich. the event drew a cosmopolitan crowd of art enthusiasts, critics and art collectors.

the goldberg studio was the ideal place to exhibit the works of marie-amélie chéreau. the raw industrial space, with its exposed brick walls and high ceilings, provided a stark contrast to the artist's powerful and colorful paintings. the collection presented at the event included a series of abstract paintings in oil on canvas, each one inviting you to become an artist yourself, a creator of your own images. the vibrant colors and contrasting lines of the works presented captivated the guests, who were quickly absorbed by the enchanting worlds that marie-amélie chéreau creates.
